Here’s everything you need to know about smartphones, how to use them, and what makes them unique.
What is the difference between a standard Android smartphone with Family Link and a Neow smartphone?

A standard Android smartphone with Family Link is, at its core, a phone designed for adult use. Family Link is added to an already open system: the browser is there, social media apps are available on the Play Store, and some restrictions can be bypassed. Management is often limited to overall screen time, with little actual control over apps and content.
With Neow, Family Link is also built in, but it is an integral part of the system. Parental controls are built into the phone’s architecture, which is based on a modified version of Android with a custom user interface. The environment is locked down from the start and designed for safe use by teenagers.
In practical terms:
- The Play Store has been replaced by the Neow Store, a curated app store. Parents can add apps to it.
- The child cannot see the apps they don't have access to.
- Social media platforms are disabled by default. Enabling them requires additional security steps.
- No search engine or web browser is accessible without parental approval.
- The restrictions, even when set up through Family Link, cannot be bypassed by the child.
- The phone can be gradually adapted to the child's needs, but always under parental supervision. It can be unlocked.
Whereas a standard Android device with Family Link attempts to restrict an already open system, Neow integrates parental controls into the very core of the phone, creating a secure environment from the start to prevent misbehavior rather than correct it.
What is the difference between cell phones without internet access and Neow?
Unlike a phone without internet access, such as the Nokia 3310 or Nokia 105, which are very limited in their functionality, Neow smartphones offer a more comprehensive and controlled environment. Thanks to a dedicated interface and parental control tools, parents can manage available apps, screen time (overall and per app), and access to certain features like online games. This helps limit screen addiction. Neow smartphones thus offer a balanced alternative, combining simplicity, autonomy, and security, without veering toward a smartphone that is either too restricted or too open.
Does NEOW have parental controls?
Yes, the NEOW runs on Android. It has its own parental controls, and you can also set up Google's Family Link. You can refer to the quick start guide for help.
Through our system, you can:
- Customize the app store to choose which apps your child can access via the parent dashboard
- Block apps that you don't want your child to download,
- Manage usage time and time slots by application, as well as those for the entire NEOW system
- Locate the phone
What's in the Neow box?
Our Neow smartphones come with:
- A USB-C cable
- A user manual
- A warranty card
- An illustrated silicone case (for the NEOW Kids only)
- A clear silicone case (for the NEOW Safe only)
Do I need to create an account to place an order?
No, registration is not required.
However, we highly recommend it! By creating an account, you’ll enjoy a faster checkout process, easily track your orders, save your favorite products, and receive exclusive offers and updates.
What is your warranty policy?
The buyer has two years from the date of delivery of the property to take action and claim under the warranty.
Our customer service department will determine whether the product should be repaired or replaced.

Our technical support team is available Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

How does NEOW work?
The NEOW works like a standard Android smartphone, but with fewer features:
There is no web search bar, and there is a custom app store with a few apps you can download. All others are blocked.

Is there internet access?
Yes, the NEOW requires an internet connection to use its apps, but you cannot search the internet.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, you can connect the NEOW to Wi-Fi.
Does it have Bluetooth?
Yes, you can use the Neow's Bluetooth to connect it to wireless headphones, a smartwatch, speakers, etc.
Do you need to insert a SIM card into the NEOW?
Yes, to use the NEOW's calling, messaging, and 4G features, you must insert a nano-SIM card with a service plan.
Which plan should I choose for the NEOW?
Here's what you'll need:
- Nano SIM card
- Mobile plan with calls, texts, and a small data allowance (about 500 MB per month is enough)
- No commitment recommended (more flexible)
No need for a large data plan! NEOW doesn't let you browse the internet, so data usage is low.
Compatible plans:
- All major carriers (SFR, Orange, Bouygues, Free)
- Budget mobile carriers (Sosh, RED, B&You, etc.)
Does the NEOW have a camera?
Yes, the NEOW has a main camera and a front-facing camera. The camera resolution varies by model.
There are also downloadable apps that let you create photo collages, edit photos, and more.
What is the battery life?
The battery depends on the model you choose. You can find all these specifications on our product pages.
My child can't remember their 4-digit PIN. What should I do?
Unfortunately, without the phone's unlock code, there's nothing you can do; you'll have to send it back to customer service.

Orders

How can I be sure my order has been confirmed?
Once your order is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details (product, price, shipping address, etc.). If you haven’t received it within an hour, please check your spam folder or contact us.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes, you can cancel your order as long as it hasn't been shipped yet. Please contact us as soon as possible via the form or by email, including your order number. Once the order has been shipped, you'll need to wait until it's delivered to request a return.

No, payment must be made at the time you place your order.

Delivery
Delivery times, tracking, service areas… we’ll walk you through everything so you can receive your Neow stress-free.
How long will it take to receive my order?
For deliveries to mainland France and Corsica, the delivery time is 3 days starting from the day after the buyer places the order, via the following carriers: LA POSTE Colissimo, Chronopost. In any case, delivery will be made no later than 30 business days after the contract is concluded.
For deliveries to French overseas departments and territories or another European Union country, the delivery terms will be specified to the buyer on a case-by-case basis at the time of ordering.
How can I tell if my order has been shipped?
We will send you a copy of the contract via email.
