Neow smartphones can connect to Wi-Fi and mobile data (certain apps can use the internet when needed), but they do not have a search engine or a web browser. Unrestricted internet browsing is not possible.

This setup helps minimize the risks associated with early exposure to inappropriate content, while preserving the benefits of modern smartphones and promoting digital well-being.

The Neow Store is our own secure Android app store dedicated to our solution. It features apps that we have carefully selected. Parents can also add or remove apps from the Store via the parent dashboard. This flexibility allows for true screen management and parental controls tailored to each family.

As promised, there will be no built-in social media or search engines.

The Neow Safe offers greater convenience for teens as they become more independent. It features a larger touchscreen (6.56 inches), a longer-lasting battery, improved performance, a 13 MP rear camera, and an 8 MP front camera. It is designed for more frequent use, while maintaining the same secure environment and parental controls.

The Neow Safe+ is designed for teens who want to take things to the next level. It rounds out the lineup with Android 15, 4 GB of RAM, longer battery life, an upgraded camera, and a more premium design.

This app is not available by default in the Neow Store, as it may be considered a social network. However, parents can add it via the parent dashboard, depending on their child’s age and needs. They retain control over permissions and usage time for messaging apps, allowing them to monitor usage, social interactions, and personal relationships, while respecting the privacy of conversations.

Neow smartphones feature real-time geolocation, accessible through the parental controls panel and compatible with GPS apps for everyday travel (such as Google Maps). This feature ensures that users remain reachable and safe, even during periods of limited connectivity, while respecting parents’ choices and protecting personal data.

Unlike a phone without internet access, such as the Nokia 3310 or Nokia 105, which are very limited in their functionality, Neow smartphones offer a more comprehensive and controlled environment. Yes, you need a mobile plan from a carrier to use Neow phones. However, they are sold without a contract, with no additional costs, and no hidden fees.
