Neow is a service intended for a sensitive audience: children and adolescents. The protection of their data, and that of their parents, is at the heart of our approach. This page summarizes, in plain language, how we process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The full version is available on request.

1.Who is responsible?

The data controller is KONROW, SASU with capital of €2,718,392, whose head office is located at 150 avenue des Chartreux, 13004 Marseille (RCS Marseille 840 802 714). For any questions relating to your data: support@neow-kids.com.

2.What data and why?

We collect what is strictly necessary for the operation of the service:

• Parent (Administrator) : first name, email, password (encrypted), age verification status, technical authentication data.
• Child (User) : first name, age group, avatar, technical identifier of the terminal, usage time and applications used, and, only at the explicit request of the parent, a specific location.

3.The role of the parent

The parent (holder of parental authority) alone decides to activate parental control and define the rules. KONROW limits itself to technically carrying out these settings and securing the service, without consulting this data for other purposes.

4.Transparency towards the child

Neow is a transparent tool, not a hidden monitoring device: the application installed on the child's phone is visible and indicates that parental controls are active. It is up to the parent to inform the child in a manner appropriate to their age. From the age of 15, the teenager's agreement is obtained for certain functionalities, such as geolocation.

5.On what legal basis?

Depending on the treatments: your consent (given by the parent for the child's data), theexecution of the contract (account management, service), compliance with a legal obligation (age verification, accounting) and our legitimate interest (security and service improvement).

6.Who do we share with?

Your data is never sold. They are only accessible to our technical service providers, governed by a GDPR-compliant contract: application development, backend hosting, technical notifications and statistics, and age verification. Certain data may be processed outside the EU within a protective legal framework (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decision).

7.How long ?

The data is only kept for as long as necessary. Usage data follows a rolling history of 3+1 weeks. Geolocation is not preserved. Data from deleted accounts is not retained : Only security logs are accessible and only in the event of a security issue and on special request.

8.Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, limitation, opposition, portability and withdrawal of consent. To exercise them, write to us at support@neow-kids.com. You can also file a complaint with the CNIL.

9.Security

Strong authentication, communications encryption, encrypted password storage, strict access control and penetration testing are implemented to protect your data.

10.Advertising and profiling

Konrow, through the solution Neow, does not carry out any commercial or advertising profiling, any fully automated decisions, and does not use advertising cookies. The statistics produced are aggregated and anonymized.
